How to Join the Dolfin Academy!
Swimmers interested in joining Junior Academy are recommended through the Swimm with Timm Lesson Program, Danvers YMCA swim lessons, or by completing a Swim Assessment offered three times a year.
As they grow, swimmers may be recommended by coaches to advance through the pathway from Junior Academy to Academy White, and then to Academy Red.
How to Progress Through the Dolfin Academy!
Junior Academy 1: 5+ years old - Attends practice 4 times a month.
Junior Academy 2: 5+ years old - Attends practice 8 times a month.
Academy White: 6-12 years old - USA Swimming Registered. Has group equipment. Has practice swimsuit, goggles, and cap if needed. Must attend at least 1-2 meets per season. Attends practice 2+ days a week.
Academy Red: 9 -13 years old - USA Swimming Registered. Has group equipment. Attends at least 3-4 meets per season. Attends practice 3+ days a week.

Additional Costs
Registration fee $150
With this fee you will receive 2 team logo caps* (one blue practice cap/one orange meet cap), 1 team t-shirt, 1 other piece of team equipment, as well as going toward paying for Mock meets, insurance costs, administrative costs, and other expenses.
YMCA Membership fee $21 per month
The YMCA is now requiring all academy and Junior Academy members to maintain an active Youth Membership from the Danvers Community YMCA
