The Danvers Y Dolfins Swim Team is an extension of the Swimm with Timm program, offering athletes the chance to build on their skills and dive deeper into the sport. Our program provides structured training, supportive coaching, and the opportunity to experience the excitement of competitive swimming.

The Danvers YMCA Dolfins (DYD) is dedicated to providing a competitive swimming environment that fosters personal growth, sportsmanship, and technical excellence. We aim to empower every athlete to reach their full potential while upholding the YMCA core values of Caring, Honesty, Respect, and Responsibility.
Vision
To be a premier competitive swim program in the North Shore and Merrimack Valley areas of Massachusetts, recognized not just for our speed in the water, but for the character and integrity of our athletes out of it.

Supports the Dolfins through team leadership, coaching guidance, and a commitment to each swimmer’s growth.

TOM PHILLIPS
Head Coach
Leads the Dolfins program with a focus on athlete development, team culture, and long-term competitive growth.

AMY CRAIGEN
Assistant Coach &
Lead Developmental Coach
Helps experienced swimmers strengthen technique, race strategy, endurance, and confidence in competition.

DANY BAKI
Assistant Coach & Lead Dryland Coach
Supports swimmers in and out of the pool, reinforcing technique, teamwork, and confidence through dryland training.

SHEILA GALVIN
Assistant Coach
Builds strong fundamentals while helping developing swimmers feel capable, motivated, and connected to the team.

REBECCA WILLYARD
Team Manager
Supports team operations, registration, billing, family communication, and other administrative needs.
